Media Command – for remotely controlling the functions of the infotainment system, enabling new options for front-seat passengers. Thanks to

WLAN technology, using this system allows users to operate the infotainment system using a tablet or smartphone. This means that you can listen to music, operate the navigation system (radio) or display information about interesting places on your tablet – and it‘s easy to do thanks to this convenient application. The Media Command application also offers functions for

users who want to operate the infotainment system directly. It is possible to remotely start and control the playback of videos and audio files, including adjusting the volume, on up to two connected tablets. Further important

Media Command can only be activated in infotainment systems whose screen features the Media Command icon while only for vehicles:

Octavia (5E) produced from CW 06/2017 with Bolero, Amundsen, Columbus;

Karoq (NU) produced from CW 30/2017 until CW 30/2020 with Bolero, Amundsen, Columbus;

Kodiaq (NS) produced from CW 22/2017 until CW 30/2020 with Bolero, Amundsen, Columbus.

The activation authorisation can only be used for one ŠKODA brand vehicle. If the product is sold, the activation document shall be provided to the buyer. In the event of a repair done on the vehicle the activation will be restored. If vehicle contains SmartLink+, MediaCommand cannot be activated.

Usage: The activation key is intended for the licence approval of the Media Command function. The product must be activated by an authorised ŠKODA partner in accordance with the recommended procedure.
